Floral Goes To The Dark Side
Floral prints have had a revamp! The soft romantic prints we all know and wore have been vamped up into a dark sultry look for the winter.
We are now seeing bursts of colour in mostly greens, pinks and creams creating a vintage vibe of floral prints, with contrasting black shades giving a gothic/edgy vibe.
Showcasing these prints on the runway were designers such as Valentino (left) and Dolce & Gabbana (right) who kept their prints on a dark base and soft colours. Some designers chose to blend their prints in while others kept a strong contrast of print and panel.
Celebrities who are also going dark in the trend include Lily Collins and Keira Knightley.
